The Just Retirement Garden
This garden takes inspiration from the progression to retirement, when there is time to take in one’s surroundings and enjoy the sensory experience of a garden. The mature planting reflects this stage in an individual’s life. The viewing windows allow glimpses of the garden from outside and also focus attention on the contrasting textures of the hard and soft landscaping.
A pavilion at the end of the garden offers a place to appreciate the planting and the chance to think about the journey to retirement.
